Lehla is one of those amazing friends who is always full of fun, passion, love, patience and artistic talent. That’s her personality and her cookbook reflects it perfectly-cook with a big smile on your face, a dollop of love, plenty of passion and masses of colour.
I worked with Lehla on my children’s book “I am Me…You Us and We” for which she did 7 double spread illustrations. As a new author, Lehla had invaluable advice based upon her experience as a published author/illustrator and an award-winning illustrator of books within this genre. Living in New York, a long distance from Lehla in Italy, was irrelevant because she was always accessible, whether online via Skype, or through her daily interactions via email. She saved me time and money by steering me away from the pitfalls that a fledgling author inevitably faces if using the internet as a sole resource. Lehla is professional, personable and informed when dealing with her craft. Moreover, she was supremely supportive and I felt like she truly connected with my work. If you decide to use Lehla for illustration you will be delighted with the results. Her use of color and her ability to connect to your idea is astounding. Thank you Lehla!

I have been working with Lehla Eldridge for over four years, she has provided our TIE company with large scale illustrations for our productions.
Not only are her illustrations vibrant, fun and full of humour, but working with Lehla is an absolute pleasure, she is dedicated, punctual, and in our case very flexible as we have had some very specific requirements to meet. I can’t imagine we would ever have the need to use another illustrator! Director of The Tale Teller.
